ResistoHistory
The story begins in 1928 with the commercialisation of office items: stamps, staplers, letter books and card punches.
Shortly after the company came to the design and the production of binding paper metallic machines, folders, document boxes, metal filing cabinets and files.
That was a right choice, insomuch as Resisto left the original office in Empoli at the beginning of the 30s (here the VAT was cheapest than the amount demanded in Florence) and moved in the Tuscan capital, logistically more suitable and economically more dynamic.
Hence the 40s, Resisto established itself as one of the main companies of its field, keeping the leadership also in the 70s, when the arrival of informatics imposed a review on the production line and the economic development increased the filing products demand.
Nowadays, Resisto means a brand, a property and a production which is entirely Italian, and keeps as its main strong point the products quality and the logic of Made in Italy.
Perhaps, the secret of this large success is simple: never yield to the temptation of outsourcing and becoming just a commercial brand. This is the main idea of Sphera Group President, Alfredo Fiscella, who took over in 2003 the trademark “Resisto”, with his partner Andrea Maggi, in order to prevent foreign multinational companies from the acquiring of Resisto.
